New from 23.05.2010 Impressions of the weekend May 21st
We were lucky to have some beautiful days. Oli, Erica and Cristián took their chance and went for a beautiful walk in the Sierra Nevada (photo 2 and 3). At night, our dear guests were feasted in our restaurant and the kids were shareing some activities. Sofia and Rocio sticked out building castles with cards (photo 4). For next season, we still have an open Domino game with Sofia's nono - we won't forget that!!
New from 13.05.2010 Beautiful autumn scenery!!!
Now the overwhelming forests are changing their green summer leaves into the kaleidoscopic colors of autumn. During the day the sun warms up and thanks to cloudless skies one can enjoy beautiful afternoons in the untouched nature hiking through the magic Conguillío N.P. and the Malalcahuello N.R.

New in our team we have Isabell. She's from Germany and already since october in Chile. She will help us out at the reception and in the restaurant. Welcome!
New from 18.01.2010 New Suizandina family member
A cupple of days ago, one of our 5 lamas gave birth to a small, white, sweet baby lama. Since it is somehow weak, we will have to feed it with a bottle.
We are still looking for a name. So, if you have a suggestion, please tell us!
New from 15.01.2010 Tennesse Technological University rocks La Suizandina
For four days 13 geology and linguistic students and 2 professors from Tennessee Technological University from Cookeville, USA, rocked our house. After excursions to the volcanoes Llaima and Lonquimay, they relaxed beside the campfire enjoing fine Chilean wine and beer.
Unfortunately we had to say goodbye today.
Thank you so much for staying with us and we hope to see you soon again! Take care!
New from 07/01/2010 Fresh staff for the summer season
We started 2010 with a big hello for our new staff members Susann from Germany and Monika form Switzerland. They will stay with us for the summer season. You will meet them at the reception, in the restaurant or taking care of the cleanliness of our hostería.

New from 7/12/2009 Reception staff: Good-bye Conny, welcome Brigitte
After 2 monthes Conny's time at La Suizandina comes to an end. She will grab her bag and go on travelling through Chile. Thank you Conny for your help!! And enjoy every single day of your trip!!
Our new reception team member is Brigitte. She is also from Switzerland and will enhance our staff in the bussy monthes of December, January and February. Welcome at La Suizandina!
New from 6.12.2009 "Grittibänze" - a Swiss tradition on December 6th
Yestarday all the La Suizandina team were gathered in the kitchen to prepare "Grittibänze" - bread men. It is a Swiss tradition to have these bread men for breakfast on December 6th. The origin of this tradition is unknown, but everybody agrees that the "Grittibänze" are yummiee! (See picture one and two)
New from 25.11.200 We welcome Alejandra - our new operational manager
Since November 20th La Suizandina has a new operational manager. Alejandra takes over all of Natalia's responsibilities. Natalia left us for personal reasons. We want to thank her for her time here at La Suizandina and we wish her all the best for her future!
And at the same time, we welcome Alejandra in our team!

New from 30.10.200 Springtime
After a soft winter, springtime arrives also at La Suizandina.
Our guests and we are all happy to enjoy warmer temperature and seeing flowers growing and trees getting there leaves.
New from 28.09.09 New Management takes over at La Suizandina
We are sad to announce that our Swiss managers Nadia and Jürg with their children Tokio and Dimitri are leaving La Suizandina now in September. The whole Suizandina team says thank you and wishes you all the best for your trip through South America and your return to Switzerland.
From October onwards Natalia and Dominique will welcome you at La Suizandina. Our new management is pure lady power: Natalia will manage the operational business and Dominique the administrative and strategic activities.
New from 18.09.2009 Fiestas Patrias: ¡Viva Malalcahuello!
Chili was celebrating the national holiday "Dieciocho" which is celebrated for almost a whole week. And many people were enjoying the sloaps or the thermal baths while staying at the Suizandina. ¡Viva Chile!
New from 16.08.09 Snowstorm
Today it's snowing cats and dogs (see last photo). It is really beautiful! We hope our guests still manage to find us.

La tercera included La Suizandina in there travel section and wrote about La Suizandina offer and new winter activities, good pictures and compelte text helped to apear in one of the most important chilean newspaper, on a saturday together with Novena - Region, friends who offer Mushing in the area of Villarrica - Pucon.
